Born in Dubai, schooled in Ottawa & now based in Toronto, Shweta Subram is making waves in Urban Bollywood music circles. A mesmerizing singer, Shweta has performed alongside chart toppers like Abhijeet Sawant, Alka Yagnik, Atif Aslam and Sukhbir through India, North America, Middle East & Caribbean.

Shweta has been awarded as Best Singer in North America by Sangam Kala Group, the same organization that discovered Sonu Nigaam, Shreya Ghosal and Sunidhi Chauhan.
Shweta has been trained by prominent gurus of Hindustani & Carnatic music styles in India. Shweta’s debut album ‘Jee Le-Live Life‘ is being produced by renowned musicians JoSH and Parichay and due to release in May 2011.

She also won the ‘Best Singer’ award by Dubai Arts Lovers Association and is a recipient of ‘Duke of Edinburgh’ award and has been featured on B4U Music, Zee Music, NDTV Goodtimes, Sahara One, Omni, ATN and various other media.
